Went to a garden party Mimi invited friends and family to meet me! I liked my Great Auntie Del she is very special to me. This is my new friend Ellen Miss Shirley made me laugh! And put on the red hat to make me laugh harder. Aunt Jessy and I had fun on the swing. I liked Miss Nicole alot. Miss Adrianne too! Miss Rebecca was very fun. Miss Mary and Me Finally mommy let me put the red hat on! Miss Lisa sure knows how to handle a baby she must do this for a living. Grandpa Cloyd gave me a dollar for being such a sweet baby all night and letting all those ladies pass me around. Now this is what I'm talking about.

Hello little muffins! Mimi-Sally's back from Atlanta and what a fun visit I had with little Anna Noelle. My pictures will be posted soon just give me a minute to unpack and come back to reality. In the mean time I will try to stop talking in a sweet sing song voice that sounds-like-I'm-talking-to-what-a-good-girl-you-are-for-pooping voice.

Hey little angel girl I miss holding you. Your mommy and daddy spoiled me by making sure I had plenty of "baby holding time" while I was visiting you. Don't grow too fast....I'll be back soon. Mimi

my kitty is not real...my kitty will not bite.

The back story on you sitting in this basket.
Aunt Jessy and Grandpa Cloyd came to Atlanta on December 22 to celebrate your first Christmas. I was already there since December 5th because your mom was dilated 3 and 70% effaced. The midwife who examined her on the 4th put us all in a panic and stated that she didn't think your mom (sidebar: the beautiful Sara Margaret Fischer Almstedt born to me (Mimi-Sally) ) would make it to her next appointment on the 11th. I had a plane ticket to arrive in Atlanta from Berkley on the 9th..... that was calling it was too close, I mean I could not miss your birth....I already missed a huge event at their wedding that I can only blame on ....another time, promise. Anyway, I rushed to Atlanta as soon as I heard this news. Where was I? oh yeah.... the basket shot of you. So Aunt Jessy was "bored" and she and I decided to "play" with you ala Anne Geddes the famous baby photographer who only shoots "nacked" babies. We set up the shot in your pink nursery. First we dressed you in cute pink (what else) sleeper and propped you in the basket. It was to be the practice shot before the "nacked" shot but we were laughing so loud at how cute and adorable you were, your daddy.....humm....heard us and broke up the fun stating " she's not a toy! she's a person!" and took you away from us. BUSTED!!! End of fun....end of story. Aunt Jessy started it all.

Anna Dearest

Told your daddy I was going to start my own blog. (see:saraandjeffalmstedt.com) Maybe someday you and I will visit it together and have a few laughs. In the mean time it will help me remember all the days of your life. I will give you the low-down on your parents, if you have any complaints when you are older I can say "I told you they were new at this....give um a break!" I need more time to teach them everything I know. Whatever! You're the greatest kiddo.
love, Mimi
